why should i choose epic restoration?

We are a part of several insurance repair networks which service many clients such as:  Allstate, Farmers, State Farm, CSAA, Liberty Mutual, and SAFECO.  We can work with any insurance company.  Ultimately, the decision of which mitigation and repair company/contractor is the choice of the homeowner.  We are also licensed, bonded and insured in the state of California.  We are an accredited company with the IICRC.

What happens next?

We send a crew and they will use their expertise and advanced equipment to determine the extent of the damage.  We will not begin any work without your authorization.

how long does the cleanup take?

For water damage, it takes on average 5 days to dry the water intrusion.  It depends on the materials that have been wet and how long it has been wet.  If water has been sitting for an extended period of time, this may cause other resulting damage and take much longer to dry.

For fire and smoke damage, the cleanup time depends on several factors.  It is difficult to give an answer without viewing your home first.  We will send our estimator to review the damages and will then do our very best to schedule your cleaning at the first opportunity and with your schedule in consideration.

Can I live in my home during the cleanup & restoration?

That decision is up to each individual homeowner.  This is a discussion for you to have with your insurance company.

should i get my insurance company involved?

If you have active running water into your home you should contact your insurance company immediately.

How much does it cost?

Water damages do not have one set cost.  We have to chase the water and find out how extensive the damages are in your home.  Most times, you can’t see exactly where the damage is located because the water has migrated under cabinets, into walls and into other locations within your home.  Our meters and our equipment can give us a better understanding of how far the water has migrated.  This is usually when we communicate with your insurance company.

Will the fire cleanup take away the smell in my home?

We use our best efforts to remove the odors, it is our first priority.  We can perform several different processes to remove smoke odors.  Our services are paid based upon the attempt to remove odors.

can you start the repairs right away?

Mitigation has to be completed prior to repairs starting.  Our company is a full repair facility which means we can handle the mitigation and repairs to your home.  A repair estimate has to be written by our estimator, sent to the insurance company, and we are required to wait for their approval.  Once approval is given, then we can set a schedule for your home repairs.
